Here you will find some of my frequently asked questions by my Brides, Hopefully you will find the answers you are looking for, however if you do not find your answer below, please do not hesitate to contact me as I am always here to assist.
I am based in the Midlands, UK, however there is no limit as to where I cover, if required, I cover all areas both within the UK and internationally. Depending upon the distance, a hotel stay may be required along with additional travel, this can be discussed upon your consultation.
To answer this briefly, I would advise on booking and securing your Big Day as soon as you have made a date. I do only take on a certain number of bookings a year and weekends are extremely popular, my diary is usually open 3 years in advance.
Trials are priced separately to the quote given for the day of the wedding/occasion. If you would like a trial on the run up to yours, this can be arranged between us.
Yes, a small deposit of just £40 is required to secure the date of your wedding, this will be taken off the final amount of your balance, which is payable 48 hours prior to your wedding date.
All quotes include fifteen minutes of travel to the chosen destination and 15 minutes return, so a round trip of half hour. Travel time is then £10 for every 15 minutes thereafter.

I usually advise that trials take place around 6 weeks before your wedding date, this allows you lots of opportunity to research and be sure on your style, however if you do have a change of heart after your trial, this still allows us time to rebook.
Leading up to your trial, I advise you to take a look at some inspiration photos. While doing this, it is best to bear in mind the style of your wedding, dress and venue, as Brides often like to keep the theme blended throughout. I also recommend that you bring along any hair accessories, along with your veil that you plan to wear for your Big Day. I find that hair always works better the day after washing, so if you could wash your hair the day before your trial, with two shampoos and condition the very ends that would be perfect, however if you feel more comfortable washing your hair on the day of your trial and will be doing the day of your wedding, that is also fine, this day is all about you. If possible, it is a good idea to try and get your hair trial booked in on the same day as your make up trial (if you are having make up) and also if you want to see the final look, you could try on your dress if you need any alterations. It always helps if you could wear a white top, (or the colour of your outfit for your Big Day) with a similar neckline to your outfit to your trial as together, we can then get a better idea of how it will look. Another top time is, if you plan to keep your hair In the style after your trial, utilise your appointment by planning a date night or night out with the girls, this way not only will you get more wear out of your hair but you will get a real feel for it and how it lasts.
Trials last one and a half hours, this allows us lots of time to discuss your dream vision, style your hair and also make amendments should you wish too! Should you wish to try out more than one style at your trial, please do let me know in advance and we can create double or even triple appointments however this will be at an additional cost.
Trials will take place at my luxury home studio based in Swadlincote, Burton upon Trent. Trials are held Monday - Friday and day times only,

This depends on many factors, such as the time of your service, or the time you would like to be ready. The earliest time I start Bridal Prep is 5.30am. If it is not possible me to style all of your Bridal Party, or if you would prefer a later start time, I can bring an additional stylist along with me.
Depending on the chosen style along with the length, thickness and type of the clients hair, styles may vary between 30- 60 minutes, at your trial, we can create a more concrete plan for the timings of your Special Day.
Two weeks before the Big Day, I will finalise all details with your self and get the last confirmation of timings, venue etc. I will also ask for two contact numbers of people you will be with on the morning of the wedding should I need to get in touch, along with your room number if you are staying in a hotel.
For the morning of your wedding, it is a huge help if you could all wear tops that either button up or that can easily be removed over the head so it does not disturb the hair when you get changed. I always recommend that you prepare your hair in the same way that you did for the trial if possible, so if you washed it the day before, please do the same again, the same goes for if you washed it the morning of your trial. It is really important that anyone having their hair styled the morning of the wedding has clean, super dry hair.
I am literally here for you on the lead up to your wedding, so please, if you have any questions, queries, or even want advice on anything not even hair related, please remember I am just a message away.
This is complete personal preference as to whether you would like me to fit your veil or you have a trusty Bridal Party Member on hand. Professional Veil Fitment is included in your Bridal service, if you would like me to fit and secure your veil, I will ensure I am right by your side once you are in your dress/outfit and ready. I will make sure the veil is secured in numerous places and show someone the best way for it to be removed should you wish to throughout the day.
